Stephanie Turner created Footballbrat.com to provide an alternative to mainstream NFL coverage. Stephanie is the daughter of San Diego Charger’s Head Coach Norv Turner and grew up in a world that revolved around football. She was born in Long Beach, CA while her father was an assistant coach at USC. Growing up Stephanie was often mistaken as an Army Brat because of the multiple cities in which her family lived – Southern CA (Los Angeles Rams), Dallas, TX (Dallas Cowboys), Northern Virginia (Washington Redskins), and San Diego, CA (San Diego Chargers).
After graduating high school in San Diego, Stephanie moved to Los Angeles to study acting. Stephanie has a deep passion for the art of acting and the telling of stories. She has portrayed a range of characters from a mourning Amish girl on the TV series BONES, to a ditzy, scantily dressed pop star in the film Monster-In-Law.
Although her career pursuit has been in the arts, it is impossible to deny the football in her blood. Stephanie is not only a fan, she has been involved with the game her entire life. Her unique perspective is based on her experiences with various teams, players, and coaches. Stephanie does not claim to be an expert; she simply speaks from experience and is not afraid to tell it like it is.
